Switzerland meets Los Angeles.

Swiss creativity meets California’s coastal spirit. Ahead of and during the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028, the House of Switzerland will bring people and ideas together in Los Angeles, opening doors to new collaborations and lasting connections.

Switzerland by the Ocean.

During the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028, Switzerland will make Santa Monica's historic Camera Obscura its home in Los Angeles.

The House of Switzerland will be a place to experience contemporary Switzerland: its creativity, diversity, know-how and curiosity. Through culture, design, innovation, sport and health, it will bring people together from Switzerland and California to meet, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives.

With free admission and open to everyone, the House will welcome the public as well as leaders from business, politics, science, culture and media to enjoy inspiring conversations, exhibitions, performances, celebrations and joyful encounters throughout the Games.

The journey starts in 2027 and extends beyond the Games.

The House of Switzerland is not a standalone event.

Beginning in September 2027, Switzerland will work with partners across Los Angeles to develop a program of cultural exchanges and collaborations. With creative industries at its core, the program will bring together people from different disciplines, backgrounds and communities to explore shared questions, develop new ideas and create projects together.

The ambition is not only to present Switzerland in Los Angeles, but to build mutually beneficial relationships that leave a lasting impact on both regions long beyond the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Let's create something together.
