«What the Foot» Montreux Comedy at the House of Switzerland

Thursday, July 7, 2016
21:00 - 23:00
Location : Wanderlust Paris

Montreux Comedy takes over the House of Switzerland! Equipped with microphones, the Montreux Comedy team takes the field!

Montreux Comedy takes over the House of Switzerland! Equipped with microphones, the Montreux Comedy team takes the field! The objective? Representing humor in all of its forms! Well, what better way to do it than by commenting Euro 2016’s matches in a fun and cutting way?

During the second Euro 2016 semifinal, you will have the occasion of choosing between two commentaries: the classic – and, let’s say it, sometimes boring – or the one made by laughter and football-enthusiastic professionals! Silent-disco fans… the idea is the same: a pair of headphones and two sport commentaries…the choice is up to you! Change the frequency! With “What the Foot” the times of technic and boring football are over!

A concept proposed in collaboration with Studio France school and Montreux Comedy.

Germany - France
Stadium: Stade Vélodrome (Marseille)

And you can watch all the Euro 2016 matches live on a giant screen, experiencing the pure emotion and passion inspiring this global event.

This is what we call 'le Slow Foot', or slow football, and that is our goal:  to give everyone, from the most ardent fans to the bon viveurs – who will find the best DJs and burgers/sausages at the Wanderlust – an outdoor arena to share a moment (or even more) dedicated to football, festivities and fine food.

The Wanderlust was created by the founders of Social Club and is located at the heart of the Cité de la Mode et du Design, a space devoted to fashion and design. Meet on the club's terrace overlooking the Seine to watch the Euro 2016 matches live – sometimes three a day – from 10 June to 10 July.

Every weekends, the House of Switzerland will offer guests a unique taste experience in the heart of Paris, with a generous helping of Swiss savoir-faire, simplicity and conviviality. The giant table at the House’s weekend brunch will feature the best Switzerland has to offer. And we want guests to feel right at home. The focus will be on traditional Swiss fare, with top-quality artisanal and alpine products on the menu, such as cheese, raclette, cured meat, sausages, all types of bread, seasonal vegetables, sweet treats and local wines....Young and old alike can also take part in a chocolate workshop where they can create their own chocolate, mould it and taste it – a veritable dream come true for chocoholics. There will also be morning joga classes on Sunday for those who want to be active, while the more hedonistic can lie back in a deckchair and lose themselves in the sounds of an acoustic session while enjoying a fresh fruit juice or a glass of white wine and watching the Seine go by.
